A Note from Casey

Posted by Casey Robert on

We cannot wait until our doors are wide open to serve our customers again!

Although we have a skeleton crew at this time, we're doing our best to proceed with as much business as usual as we possibly can. We realize there may be delays and inconveniences, and we ask in advance for your patience as we navigate this situation.

All our regular items, including Fusion Mineral Paint, are available for purchase online. The most current availability is reflected on the online store, and updates are made regularly.  If the Fusion color you'd like to order is sold out, please know that I'm checking daily to try to reorder, but the manufacturing is paused due to plastics being diverted from these containers to more essential items across Canada (where the paint is made). We do have a waiting list, and can reserve your jars for when they're available again. Simply email casey@shopchaleureux-dot-com with your needs.

To ensure you get your desired piece, please don't wait to buy! Reorders are taking longer due to manufacturing and shipping limitations during the shutdown, and we are operating on a first-come, first-serve basis. We cannot hold merchandise without payment at this time.

Items like original artwork and one-of-a-kind pieces that we don't normally feature online are being added to their own store page, and we're working to develop a way to offer custom framing packages online as well. Keep an eye on our social media pages for the latest offerings!

On a personal note, many of you know that I'm currently 8+ months pregnant with my third child. Health is of the utmost importance to me right now, and for that reason we are not allowing anyone to enter the shop at all. We are also experiencing distant learning with our schoolwork at two different grade levels, and that does require a time commitment from me daily.  I'm SO grateful for my wonderful clients and customers, without whom we would fold, and I'm asking for your patience as you may experience delays in responses from me. It's a difficult balance to strike right now, and I am doing my best to stay on top of each project, but it's a stretch. In just a few weeks, I will take my planned brief maternity leave, and I look forward to returning to a regular work schedule as soon as possible.

Thank you for being our loyal support system for five years running! You guys mean the world to us. We can't wait to see our Ponchatoula sidewalks and parking lots filled again; please plan to visit in person when you can!

Love, Casey
